ਅਕਾਲੀ ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਬਾਰੇ:

ਅਕਾਲੀ ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ (1761-1822) ਦੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾਈ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੇ ਆਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ-ਏ-ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਪਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਵਿਚਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਅਧੀਨਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰ ਬਾਬਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੋਤੀ ਦੀ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਯੋਗ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਹੈ।

Akali Phula Singh book biography of Akali Phula Singh Ji (1761-1822) as penned by Sikh historian Baba Prem Singh Hoti. Akali Phula Singh Ji lived his life in accordance with Gurmat ideals and Panthic tradition. Though he played an important role in extension and protection of Sarkar-e-Khalsa, in his role as Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib he was a sui-sovereign and was not subordinate to any temporal power/state. This book is a good read for those interested in Sikh history.
