ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਤੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਫਿਰਦਿਆਂ, ਧੂੜਾਂ ਛਾਣਦਿਆਂ, ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਜਵਾਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੇਹ ਦੇ ਅਸਲ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸੁਕ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਬੇਅੰਤ ਵਾਰ ਐਸੇ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਅਡਿੱਠ ਖ਼ਿਆਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਤੇ ਖੇੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੁਝ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਇਹ ਹਰ ਦੇਹ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਜੂਦ ਨੂੰ ਹਲੂਣਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਗ਼ਫ਼ਲਤ ਦੀ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਤੋਂ ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾ ਦੇਣਾ। ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਵੰਨਗੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਦ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸੇ ਹੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਐਸਾ ਹੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਰੂਹਾਨੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੋਚਣ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਅ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਹੰਢਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਆਖਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਫੁੱਟ ਜਾਣਾ ਜ਼ਿਹਨ ਦੀ ਕਰਾਮਾਤ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਕਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਂਦ ਬਣਾ ਬੈਠੀ, ਕਦੋਂ ਤੇ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਕਸ਼ਾ ਤਰਾਸ਼ਿਆ! ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ। ਇਹ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਡਾਹਡੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਹਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇਹ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਕੀ ਪਿਰੋਣਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਸੀਮਤ ਸਮਝ ਦਾ ਐਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਾਇਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਲਿਖ ਸਕੇ। ਓਹੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਤੇ ਓਹੀ ਉਸਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਵੱਲ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
